Essential Job Functions:
Weigh each order or load as applicable – check production variances as listed in SOP’s and report intolerant weights of loads to lumberyard foreman
Complete daily and turn in truck delivery record to lumberyard foreman
Possess mechanical skills to perform minor maintenance tasks on equipment and property
Lumberyard Assistant Foreman
Essential Job Functions:
Assist in planning, coordinating, and supervising daily yard and delivery operations.
Load, secure, and deliver lumber and building materials to customer locations in a safe and timely manner.
Ensure delivery vehicles are properly maintained, fueled, and inspected regularly.
